To the surprise of Taylor Creek Elementary School students, Lampasas ISD Board of Trustees member Jeff Rutland arrived at the campus Monday dressed as Johnny Appleseed.
Rutland read a book to the students on the life and times of Appleseed.
“We are so thankful and blessed to have a community member share their time with us,” Principal Shona Moore said.
