PurplePTSD: No Za’Darius on Thursday, Winston Limbo, Week 4 Picks

By 1 year ago

The sister-site to VikingsTerritory is PurplePTSD.com, and the guys and gals over there roll out the Minnesota Vikings analysis just as much as we do.

Here is some of their top content from the last couple of days:

1 – Dalvin Cook returned to practice on Thursday, but Za’Darius Smith sat out once again.

2 – Saints QB Jameis Winston is in jeopardy for Sunday’s game due to a back injury, nominating Andy Dalton as the next man up if Winston can’t go.

3 – Josh Frey comes in hot with Week 4 picks leaguewide.

4 – In the daily video segment, Bryant McKinnie, Wes Johnson, Raun Sawh, and Dustin Baker chat about Saints-Vikings.

5 – The Vikings top 2023 draft prospects, according to PPTSD.

The Vikings travel to London for a date with the Saints on Sunday. The Saints infamously toppled the Vikings in the 2009 NFC Championship game, and the franchises haven’t liked each other since. Thankfully for Minnesota’s sake, vengeance was exacted in 2017 and 2019, as the Vikings jettisoned the Saints from the postseason, and New Orleans had lofty Super Bowl aspirations in both seasons.

The Saints are 2.5-point underdogs against the Vikings after losing to the Carolina Panthers in Week 3, 22-14.
