Some vintage room at the El Cortez Hotel and Casino has completed their renovation efforts and are now ready to welcome guests.
The 47 rooms, often dubbed the Original 47, are located above the casino floor and can only be accessed through a wooden staircase.
According to the El Cortez, the Original 47 rooms were typically used for boarding and meeting rooms but now serve as a step back into Vegas' vintage glamour days.
The project was the last piece in the hotel's $28 million property renovation that began in 2020.
The $3 million refresh promises to elevate the guests' experience while preserving the vintage feel of the city's longest continuously running hotel and casino.
