(WWJ) – When Hurricane Ian made landfall on Florida’s Gulf Coast on Wednesday, it was one of the five most powerful storms in American history.

Officials in Florida are expecting the death toll to climb into the hundreds, and millions of people will be without power for days, if not weeks.

On a new Daily J, WWJ’s Zach Clark takes the story south to the aftermath of Ian, speaking to experts about the severity of the storm, as well as getting first-hand accounts from native Michiganders.
