38-year-old Heather J. Wills has been charged after being involved in a car crash in Van Buren on September 12.
State Police say Wills of Syracuse was driving under the influence of drugs when she caused a three-car crash on State Route 690.
Police say she was driving a pickup truck traveling north when she hit the guard rail, drove through the grass median, and then traveled the wrong way down the southbound lanes until hitting a Dodge Caravan head-on.
The two victims in the Dodge Caravan are still recovering from their injuries, and continue to be assisted by the State Police Crime Victims Advocate.
Wills was released from the hospital on Wednesday.
Wills has been charged with Assault, Vehicular Assault, DWAI-Drugs, Driving the Wrong Way on a one-way street, Moving from Lane Unsafely, and Failure to Keep Right.
Wills was arraigned in centralized arraignment court and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $10,000 bail.
