FOXBOROUGH — While Mac Jones’ ankle injury is getting plenty of attention (and deservedly so), another key piece of the Patriots offense is still nursing an injury that bears monitoring, too.
Jakobi Meyers remained a limited participant at Thursday’s practice with a knee injury, and has been walking with a noticeable limp; New England’s most reliable receiver still isn’t 100%. Meyers missed last Sunday’s loss to the Ravens, and would provide a massive lift to this weekend’s likely starter, Brian Hoyer, if he’s able to return for the Packers game.
The only change to New England’s second injury report of the week was Yodny Cajuste, who went from being limited Wednesday to not participating at all due to a thumb injury. If Cajuste isn’t ready to play in Green Bay, perhaps veteran Marcus Cannon is elevated from the practice squad as a depth piece.
