Pet Connection: Sept. 29, 2022
<TOSS TO PET CONNECTION> UP FIRST THIS WEEK, WE HAVE A FIVE YEAR OLD GERMAN SHEPHARD NAMED LACY. SHE'S A LAID BACK DOG WITH A SWEET DEMEANOR, DESPITE BEING A BIT SHY. IT MIGHT TAKE SOME TIME, BUT YOU'LL WIN HER OVER WITH TREATS AND LOTS OF PLAY TIME OUTSIDE! LACY DOESN'T SEEM TO LIKE OTHER DOGS, ESPECIALLY FEMALES... SO SHE WOULD PROBABLY DO BEST IN A HOME WITHOUT OTHER ANIMALS. IF YOU'D LIKE TO OPEN YOUR HEART AND HOME TO LACY, REACH OUT TO THE NORTH COUNTRY SPCA TODAY. AND WE'RE RE- INTRODUCING YOU TO BIRDIE, WHO STILL HASN'T FOUND HER FOREVER HOME. WE'RE NOT REALLY SURE WHY - THIS GAL HAS A LOT OF LOVE TO OFFER. SHE'S ABOUT 3 YEARS OLD AND IS VERY BOUNCY AND PLAYFUL FOR HER AGE. GIVEN HER ENERGY LEVEL, SHE'D BE A GREAT COMPANION FOR AN ACTIVE FAMILY. BIRDIE HAS DONE WELL IN THE PRESENCE OF OTHER DOGS, THOUGH WE'RE NOT SURE HOW SHE'D BE WITH CATS AND CHILDREN. IF YOU'RE WILLING TO GIVE BIRDIE THE FOREVER HOME SHE DESERVES, CONTACT THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF CHITTENDEN COUNTY. AND WHEREVER, WHEREVER - SHAKIRA AND HER NEW MOM WERE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER! THIS KITTY WASN'T AT THE SHELTER
