Thanks for checking in with means total weather here on the thursday evening, it'll be *** cold night under clear skies, temperatures falling back into the lower forties by morning, tomorrow *** day that will feature sunshine, but I do think we're gonna mix some clouds in midday through the afternoon. Alright, as far as the freezing temperature, some of the coldest readings up in the mountains, that's where readings are going to dip back into the upper twenties. So *** freeze warning in effect that area shaded in purple. Meanwhile, this is *** frost advisory where temperatures get *** little close to 32. You know, if you live in an area that's pretty susceptible to those early season frost. So tonight would be the first night for many folks, weather map, not showing much, except some cloudiness off to our south. It actually extends all the way back down to hurricane Ian. Yeah, what was tropical storm now becoming *** hurricane again late this afternoon and headed toward the Carolinas. Some of this cloudiness is going to creep northward and that's what we're gonna see mixed with the sunshine here, not just tomorrow, but taking us into saturday as well. So maybe the weekend, not *** stormy weekend, but maybe not quite as bright as what we had originally thought storm tracker here. Eight o'clock tomorrow morning, some high clouds and again, as the day progresses, you've got these bands of moisture streaming northward overnight lows tonight, twenties to the north. Talking about lower thirties across the interior lower forties at the coast and then high temperatures tomorrow. Most everybody into the sixties. Here's *** check in the next eight days.

As the last day of September approaches, the true chill of Autumn will settle in through Friday morning. A freeze warning has been issued for parts of northern New Hampshire and the western Maine mountains.Many locations in the warning may get down into the upper 20s, with lows 30s a good bet. A frost advisory extends down into interior York county, this is where temperatures may get into the low and middle 30s.Bringing plants indoors will be a must across the warned areas. That being said, the growing season is coming to end. If it drops below 39 degrees in Portland tonight, it will be the first time since May 10 that it get this cold, so if your heat has not turned on yet, it will do so by Friday morning.Another risk of a frost/freeze exists into the first week of October. This is just about average for the time when western Maine should experience the first freeze.
