Early voting underway in most Chicago area counties

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- People in much of the Chicago region can now cast votes for the November election.

Early voting in person and voting by mail is underway in most area counties including DuPage, Lake, McHenry, Kane, Will and Kankakee.

State law allows early voting 40-days before an election.

Those interested in early voting should check county election website for details on where and when you can vote. Early voting in Cook County starts on October 7.
