Best NFL underdog picks and predictions for Week 4

NFL Week 3 brought some big upset wins. The Indianapolis Colts beat the Kansas City Chiefs. The Miami Dolphins knocked off the Buffalo Bills and the Dallas Cowboys, playing with a backup quarterback, beat the New York Giants.

Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook‘s NFL odds and lines, and tab the best NFL Week 4 underdog bets to cash in on among SportbookWire’s NFL expert picks and predictions.

As for our picks last week, they went 1-2, giving a 3-week record of 3-6. In Week 4, there are only 4 games with a spread of more than 3.5 points. There doesn’t appear to be a dynamite money line pick this week for a big payout, either.

Time to regroup and try to get even.

NFL underdog predictions: Week 4

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at Thursday at 12:22 p.m. ET. All games Sunday and ET unless noted.

Arizona Cardinals (+102) at Carolina Panthers – 4:05 p.m. (FOX)

The Cardinals have not scored in the 1st quarter and have trailed at least 14 points to start every game this season, but have faced the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Rams. Their defense has held Davante Adams and Cooper Kupp to a combined 6 catches for 61 yards.

The Cardinals have also won their last 7 road games as underdogs outright.

Carolina has not yet cracked 300 yards of offense in a game. Arizona moved the ball consistently last week but didn’t get into the end zone.

The Panthers are a couple of plays from being 3-0, but they are not getting good quarterback play.

Atlanta Falcons (+105) vs. Cleveland Browns – 1 p.m. (CBS)

Scoring points has not been a problem for the Falcons, as they have had 26 or 27 points in all three games they have played this season.

The Browns have allowed 24 or more twice and are 1-1 in those games.

The Falcons are 3-0 ATS this season and, while this is not an ATS bet, with the spread set at 1.5 points, it is very difficult to cover the spread and not win outright.

Ultimately, it comes down to believing a little more in Falcons QB Marcus Mariota than in Browns QB Jacoby Brissett.

Jaguars +6.5 (-112) at Philadelphia Eagles – 1 p.m. (CBS)

The Eagles are undefeated and have been arguably the best team in the league. But the Jaguars are formidable at 2-1 and their lone loss was by only 6 points. They held the Los Angeles Chargers to 10 points.

The X-factor in this game is it is a revenge game for Jaguars HC Doug Pederson, who coached the Eagles from 2016-20.

The Lions and their offense kept things close in Week 1 with the Eagles. The Jaguars have the firepower to keep up and keep it at least a one-score game.
