Police officers come & go

Movie Review: “Don’t Worry Darling”

Wesson police personnel continue to come and go.

Ashley McDuffey is the latest officer to resign, and Aaron Love is coming on board as an uncertified full-time officer committed to serve the department for two years after completing the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy (MLEOTA).

At MLEOTA, Love will learn basic law enforcement in classes that cover:

  • Basic police skills and knowledge and their application.

  • Self-discipline and how to follow society’s rules.

  • Ethical standards, particularly the law enforcement code of ethics.

  • Relating to peers, superiors and the public.

MLEOTA provides training and facilities to state, county and municipal law enforcement agencies across Mississippi.
