The Alabama Beverage Control Board holds the limited release event each year, giving buyers an opportunity for a chance to purchase in-demand and often limited release liquors.

The lottery is open only to Alabamians 21 years old and older and will award 100 guaranteed places in line at each participating location. ABC stores taking part are: South Donahue Drive in Auburn; Highway 72 West in Madison; Rele Street in Mountain Brook; Baldwin Square in Fairhope; Bellingrath Road in Theodore; McFarland Blvd. in Tuscaloosa; Eastern Blvd. in Montgomery; and Ashville Road in Leeds.

Sweepstakes registration open at 8 a.m. on Oct. 3 and will close at 5 p.m. on Oct. 23. Drawings will be conducted Oct. 24 and winners will be notified through email or text by Oct. 26. The event will take place in stores on Dec. 10.

Only one entry is allowed per person.
