Zachary L. Manente, 25, and Jacob D. Manente, 24, were busted at an Ocean City condo on Aug. 26, police told NJ.com. Following their release from custody on the second-degree assault charge, the brothers have a court date set for Oct. 11.

According to a police report, the altercation that followed a night of drinking left both men with minor injuries.

They've since been placed on administrative duty until their cases are resolved, Woodbridge Chief Law Enforcement Officer Scott Kuzma told the outlet.

Court records obtained by NJ.com show the brothers reside at the same address in the Colonia section of Woodbridge. Jacob was hired as a police officer in 2021 while Zachary joined in 2018.
