A North Carolina man who was sentenced to prison on a burglary charge posted a picture on Facebook that showed a large sum of fanned out $100 bills, according to District Attorney Andrew Murray.According to Henderson County Sheriff’s office, Tyler Lee Anders, 19, was taken to jail on Sept. 22, 2021, after they received an emergency call about a breaking and entering in progress.Deputies said that once Anders was taken to jail, he confessed in an interview to multiple break-ins in the same area he was arrested, which included a home where he took a large sum of $100 bills.Authorities did a further investigation where they found a picture of Anders fanning out a large sum of $100 bills on his Facebook page days after the break-in of the stolen cash, according to deputies.On Sept. 19, Anders pled guilty and was sentenced to 45 to 66 months in prison on multiple charges, which include first-degree burglary, breaking and entering motor vehicles, several misdemeanor larceny charges, and the charge of attempting to escape from the Henderson County jail and to pay restitution to the victims in the amount of $13,574.
