HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Huntington’s mayor announced that the city’s Public Works director has been relieved of his duties.

Mayor Steve Williams said in a news release Thursday that Jim Insco had been relieved of his duties. The mayor thanked Insco for his service, but no further details were provided about the specific reason for the action.
Williams said that Scott Poston, general superintendent of Public Works, has been named as interim Public Works director.

“We have all the confidence that there will be no gap in the level of professional service provided by the men and women of the Public Works Department,” Williams said.
