Kunis was on the late night program to promote her new Netflix movie “Luckiest Girl Alive” and made sure to have all her clothing and fittings taken care of back in Los Angeles before flying to Brooklyn (where Kimmel is taping this week). Although she planned ahead, not all her items made it coast to coast.

“I show up here,” Kunis told the late night host. “I open my garment bag to put on this dress and there's shoes but there’s no bra, no underwear, and no socks. Why I wasn’t wearing those garments either is whole other story.”

Kimmel’s costume department wasn’t able to find her all the replacement garments in time, so Kunis had to call on those traveling with her!

“I’m currently wearing my publicist’s bra, my manager’s socks, and your costume department found children’s leggings that we have cut into underwear,” she said. “I’m wearing children’s underwear.”

Kunis also told the Brooklyn crowd about her distaste for pizza (they didn’t love that), growing up in Ukraine, and then the show threw her the senior prom she never got to have.

“Luckiest Girl Alive” streams on Netflix October 7.
