Hockey season is officially back in Shreveport. The Shreveport Mudbugs kicked off their home schedule last weekend. It might not have been the game results that the Mudbugs wanted, but it was still fun to get back to hockey action at George's Pond inside The Hirsch.

The Mudbugs will be back on home ice this weekend for a pair of games against the Oklahoma Warriors. But this weekend, it's about more than hockey with the Shreveport Mudbugs.

The Mudbugs will play both Friday and Saturday nights, with the puck dropping at 7:11pm both nights. It's good to remember that this is a hockey game, meaning there's ice inside. The temperature in the arena will be cooler than it is outside,  so keep that in-mind when you prepare for the game. You don't need a snow suit, but maybe consider a small, thin blanket.
