PHOENIX — Two Valley cities both made the top 10 list of best cities for people with disabilities in a recent study by personal finance website WalletHub.

Scottsdale came in at No. 6 on the list while Tempe was ranked No. 10.

WalletHub used three key dimensions to compare the most livable places for people with disabilities, including the economy, quality of life and health care.

Those dimensions were evaluated through 34 metrics, with each metric graded on a 100-point scale and a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions.

Across the three dimensions, Scottsdale ranked highest in economy at No. 10, then No. 45 for quality of life and No. 48 for health care.

Tempe came in at No. 8 for economy, No. 51 for quality of life and No. 64 for health care.

Though the city of Gilbert ranked overall at No. 48, it was in the top five places in the nation with the lowest percentage of people with disabilities in poverty.

The next Arizona city, Tucson, ranked No. 20 on the list, with Chandler (No. 25), Peoria (No. 28) and Mesa (No. 46) placing afterward.

Cities that were ranked in the bottom three for worst places for people with disabilities to live were: Gulfport, Missouri; Mobile, Alabama; and Tallahassee, Florida.
