NEXT: Periods of heavy rain into Saturday.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says New York City will see quiet weather for rest of the workweek. Downpours and flash flooding are expected for Saturday.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy and chilly, lows from the low- to mid-50s.
Friday: Cloudy, cool and breezy. Highs around the mid-60s.
Friday Night: Cloudy and chilly with periods of rain after midnight. Rain will be heavy at times, leading to flooding in poor drainage areas, lows around the mid-50s.
Saturday: Periods of heavy rain, cool and breezy. Highs from the mid-50s to the low-60s.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy and breezy, a chance of showers. Highs from the upper-50s to the mid-60s.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers. Highs from the upper-50s to the low-60s.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, a chance of showers. Highs from the low- to mid-60s.
