Anderson County Chamber to celebrate 90 years with ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’

Go back in time to 1932. Tickets are on sale for “Puttin’ on The Ritz: a Night of Glitz & Glamour,” the Anderson County Chamber’s annual street party, at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at the historic Ritz Theater, 119 N. Main Street in Clinton.

Tickets ($125/couple or $100/couple for Chamber members) can be reserved now at www.tiny.ur.com/RITZ90 and include hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

The event is for 21 & older; valid ID will be required.

This event will take place under the lights of the Ritz. Madison Insurance Group is sponsoring C-Town Music for dancing on the street under the stars. 1930s attire is encouraged.

Tickets are on sale through Oct. 12.

Working for business since 1932, the Chamber was founded by a small group of Clinton businessmen. Formed as the Clinton Chamber, the organization changed its name to the Greater Clinton Chamber of Commerce in 1977 and adopted its present name of Anderson County Chamber of Commerce in 1984.
