Camila Cabello just had a major throwback feels last night at "The Voice" after she thought she heard his ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes singing on the Blind Auditions.

Cabello is a newbie at the "The Voice" coach chair, replacing one-time judge Ariana Grande last season. So far, she has reaped more four chair-turners than longstanding judge Blake Shelton on this season.

Camila Cabello Didn't Turn Her Chair on Shawn Mendes Sound-Alike

On last night's episode, 29-year-old Tanner Howe from California sang one of Shaen Mendes' biggest hits - "Mercy."

In the first part of the song, Cabello seemed to have known immediately that it was his ex-Boyfriend's song. "Is that Shawn up there?" she asked.

Undeniably, Tanner Howe's voice does sound familiar, almost a complete copy of the Canadian singer's riffs and runs.

Upon finishing his piece, the "Havana" singer went on to compliment the contestant that he did sound like Shawn Mendes and explained why she refused to want him on her team.

"I know him better than anybody in this room," Cabello quipped, prompting laughs from the crowd and John Legend. "But the reason I didn't turn around was I felt like you sounded a little bit too much like him. Obviously, he has an amazing voice. I love this song. But I would be curious when you pick your coach for you to just kind of distinguish yourself."

Howe acknowledged Cabello's remarks and promised to be more unique after affirming that he did want to sound like on the lane like Shawn Mendes.

Ultimately, after Gwen, John, and Blake bickered and fought to be Howe's coach, he chose Team Gwen, evoking the pride of Orange County, which he, from Huntington Beach, and Gwen, from Anaheim, both came from.

Camila Cabello Debuts as 'The Voice' Coach

Currently, Camila Cabello is going strong on Team Camila as she has already sealed three out of the five four-chair turners this season.

She can also be seen in constant bickering with Blake Shelton, who admitted in an interview that Cabello has beaten then-coach Kelly Clarkson, as the most talkative coach the music competition has ever recruited yet.

Season 22 of "The Voice" airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
