Two people were stabbed, another person suffered other injuries following a car crash in west Wichita. It happened just after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Murdock and West St.

Officers were called to the area and learned that following the crash, someone produced a knife. At least two people were stabbed during the altercation. One person received serious injuries. A third person had injuries of unknown origin. All three were transported to an area hospital.
Investigators identified them as two men and one woman, in their mid-20's. There were also two children in one of the cars.
Police believe this to be an isolated incident and that the people involved knew each other.
A person of interest has been taken into custody.
