East Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, CA: A man was found suffering from a stab wound to the neck early Wednesday morning on the eastbound 60 Freeway Downey off-ramp in the unincorporated area of East Los Angeles.

The incident was reported at approximately 1:00 a.m. Sept. 28, 2022. California Highway Patrol East Los Angeles officers responded to the area and located the victim in the passenger seat of a white Tesla sedan parked on the Downey off-ramp.

Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and transported the victim in unknown condition by private ambulance to a local area hospital.

The female driver tested over the legal limit of driving under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody by CHP.

It is unclear at this time how the victim received the wound to his neck.
