LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — A pedestrian was killed while trying to cross SC 9 near Potter Road in Lancaster County, South Carolina Wednesday. Troopers say around 4:12 p.m. a tractor trailer heading east on SC 9 struck the pedestrian who was crossing the highway.
The pedestrian has not been identified. Troopers say the driver of the tractor trailer has not been charged at this time.
