International Observe the Moon Night

6-9 p.m. Saturday

Join observers around the world on this specific day to take a close look at our very own Moon. Members of the Lima Astronomical Society will have telescopes setup at Kendrick Woods for the public to observe the Moon in detail. Other astronomical objects will also be featured. This event is weather and cloud cover dependent. Check the Lima Astronomical Society Facebook page for updates. Register by Sept. 29 by phone at 419-221-1232. Julius Caesar

7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Shakespeare’s epic political tragedy, where the race to claim the empire spirals out of control. When Julius Caesar’s heroic magnetism threatens to undo four centuries of republican rule in Rome, a small band of patriots conspire to put things right. Andy Klosterman Solo at TipBacks

7 p.m. Saturday

Andy Klosterman is a musician out of New Knoxville. TipBacks Wine & Craft Beer, 101 Defiance St., Wapakoneta will host him playing piano and acoustic guitar music with a vocal harmonizer and looper pedal. TipBacks will also feature live music and delicious drinks on tap. Shafter’s Smoked Meats will start serving up delicious food at 5 pm.

Greater Auglaize County Art Exhibit

Continues until Oct. 8

The exhibit has displayed artwork from artists in and around Auglaize County through September, and the show will remain on display until Saturday, Oct. 8. The juried show awarded its winners earlier in the exhibition, and time is running out to see all the winners and entrants. The gallery is open from 12-4 p.m. on Wednesdays-Fridays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays at Riverside Art Center, 3 W. Auglaize St., Wapakoneta.

All Shook Up

7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday

This crowd-pleasing musical is inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley. It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that’ll have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.” Family entertainment at the Marathon Center For The Performing Arts, 200 W.
