UPDATE: Lakewood Homeowner Offers $1,000 Cash Reward for Information Leading to Arrest of Burglar

The Lakewood homeowner whose home was broken into yesterday tells TLS he is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the burglar.

The burglar made off with the family’s silver.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lakewood Police Department.

  1. Try calling pawn shops in Freehold, Howell, Brick, Lakewood, Toms River and Jackson etc… They try to pawn off the silver. The pawn shops by law have to hold onto the merchandise for 10 days before re selling it. You might find some of your things. I did.

  2. Did he or a neighbor have any work done recently? Have all employees of yours or your neighbors contractors finger printed. Also get insurance.

  3. Seems like an inside job. He knew they weren’t home? What time if day did he come? Most people in Coventry have young kids and are around all day on yt. They aren’t in shul. He knew when no one would be around.

  4. A lot of people have some kind of app on their phone and when someone comes to your front door it rings on your phone.
    The cost is under $100. (maybe $50)
    Actually I am not sure about price.
