A juvenile was arrested after Baltimore County Police were called to Perry Hall High School because of a fight this afternoon, according to the police department.

Police say the School Resource Officer called for more officers at about 2:45 p.m. because of the fight.

Julie Henn, Chairperson of the Baltimore County Board of Education said in a Facebook post:

I have been in touch with BCPS leadership regarding an incident near dismissal this afternoon at Perry Hall High. There was no threat to the school. The incident was handled by BCPS and BCPD according to policies and protocols - ensuring the safety of those involved. Appropriate consequences will be administered.
