Not to be outdone by their friends at Wally’s in Mills 50, Thornton Park staple Burton’s Bar (Instagram) says they will be staying open for as long as possible during the hurricane.
The bar shared on its socials that it would be filling up containers with water for guests to take home with them and that they are offering to-go beer and liquor since they are also a package store.
The eatery next door, The Classic – Thornton Park (Instagram) will also be open and serving up food for people sheltering from the storm until/if any curfews are put in place by the county or the city.
Burton’s Bar is located at 801 E. Washington Street [GMap]. Orlando Police are asking that you exercise extreme caution if you’re out on the roads and to reduce your speed, turn your lights on, and increase your following distance with the cars ahead of you.
