Be it book tv or film or any other who are your favourite footballing characters and why….

I ask this as I have just got into the excellent ted lasso first series….. he is obviously Based on Bob Bradley but he is such a likeable character and that darts scene is epic.

Away from that

Viv Jaws Wright Dream Team

Such a great actor and even though only in the show for 18 months such a great legacy

Roy Race

Suppose the original footballing god it did get ridiculous how he never aged but his fictional autobiography is a good read and a obvious p…s take on the comics.

Nick Jarvis The Sun

So many years in the sun some may not like the paper but for me striker was the only reason I brought the newspaper great storylines condensed into so little.

So over to you…..

    Stevens AND Mick Hucknall.

It was like signing Messi & Ronaldo in their prime. If they'd have had a person in goal, rather than a fish, the European Cup would surely have been theirs.

The default Master League team from old school PES. I've already forgotten some Cov players from the last few years but Iouga, Minanda, Castolo, Burchet and the lads are in my heart always xxx

And don't forget Brown Fox, the scantily clad, big boobed Native American who also played for Fulchester.
