Kermit Wayne Bragg, age 60, of Lester, WV passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
Born on February 27, 1962, at Oak Hill, he was the son of the late Maurel Kermit Bragg and Frances Raines Bragg.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Ann Bragg; a brother Arnold (Lanny) Raines.
His is survived by his wife Pinkie Ethel (Hagerman) Bragg; daughters Debra Adkins and husband Robert of Coal City, Cindy Meadows and husband Carlos Lee Jr. of Princewick; Julie Bragg and companion Dave of Beckley, and Amanda Stowers and Husband Jon of Eccles: stepchildren, Elizabeth, Hubert, and Jessie Hagerman of McDowell County. Sisters, Carol Asprey and husband Craig, of Virginia; Janet Mabes and husband Michael of Daniels; stepmother, Elizabeth Bragg of Ghent; his grandchildren, Gabriel and Emily Adkins, Anthony, Amber, Matthew and Ethan Meadows, Judy Mae Maxwell, Madison Williams, Peyton and Piper Isner, and Ryder Stowers. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Kermit was mechanic during his working years. Many say he was a jack of all trades because he has done a little bit of everything over the years. He was an avid hunter. Kermit’s grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at 2 PM with Rev. James Bragg officiating. Burial will follow at the Layland Cemetery at Layland, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 6 PM until 9 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff and Gary Bragg, Kermit and John Bennett, James Wyatt and Tommy Paul Jordan.
