The Highway 19 bridge repair project in Redwood Falls is complete.

The project included repairing and resurfacing the bridge over the Redwood River just west of U.S. Highway 71 in Redwood Falls. Deteriorated concrete deck and approach panels were replaced; the bridge railing was repaired; and the pedestrian access to the west side of the bridge was updated to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act standards.

Benefits of the project include extending the service life of the bridge, a smoother bridge deck surface, and compliance with current ADA standards. The project began June 6 and cost $950,000. PCI Roads was the project contractor.
