Syracuse, N.Y. — The New York State Sportswriter Association released its second edition of football rankings.

One major change among Section III schools comes in Class AA. After losing to Cicero-North Syracuse in Week 3, the Bees fell from No. 24 to honorable mention this week. With the win, C-NS moved up one spot to No. 18.

In Class D, Cato-Meridian fell from No. 10 to honorable mention and Little Falls joined the rankings at No. 14.

Six other teams made jumps in the rankings this week: Fayetteville-Manlius (No. 8 in A), Westhill (No. 14 in B), Camden (No. 20 in B), Cazenovia (No. 3 in C), General Brown (No. 7 in C) and Adirondack (No. 14 in C).

There are also four new Section III teams that appeared as honorable mentions: New Hartford in Class A, Central Valley Academy in Class B, and Cooperstown and Frankfort-Schuyler in 8-Man.
