Is it just me who loves Eve as a character? She brings such warmth and humour to the show, but can also do drama really well.

Heather Peace is such a great actress and I really hope she sticks with EE for a while. I know she’s had many other roles in the past and probably wouldn’t struggle for work, but I think Eve is such a great character with potential for a long-term future on the show.

She’s actually such a revelation for me. I rolled my eyes at Stacey being given a ‘wife’ and thought she would just be there for shock value and then head off, but she’s a really nuanced character.

She interacts with so many characters really well, and she feels like a real person. She acts like a real person, she dresses like a real person and she talks like a real person.

So many EE characters have become caricatures of themselves but Eve really is someone you could meet in any local pub and end up having a great chat with.

She's effortlessly fitted into the show and brings the best out of every character she interacts with, from acting as a balance to the dramas in the Slater household, to showing a more human side to Suki, to simply sitting in the pub chatting to just about anyone.

She's exactly the kind of character EastEnders has been sorely lacking over the last few years - relatable and easy to care about. I hope she sticks around for a long time.

Another huge fan of Eve here, she's a breath of fresh air! A very warm, likeable character with a great sense of humour who's slotted into the square perfectly. The on-screen partnership and dynamic between her and Stacey is heartwarming and quite beautiful, they really do care for eachother. Eve also bounces off (sometimes literally with her fists!) every character she shares a scene with. Heather is smashing it, so too are the writers with their careful crafting of an all-round brilliantly engaging character. The Suki dynamic has added another fascinating layer, hope Eve is there for the long haul.

I didn't like her at first, but now she's settled in I think the character is great and the actor has found her groove. Really nice addition to the cast.

I do like eve but with her getting close to suki I have an awful feeling she’ll find out about the murder and Ravi will kill her to keep his secret.

She is fantastic. Her introduction storyline was rough and it took me ages to warm to the character but she’s one of my favourites now. So effortlessly cool.

I agree with the above and actually, I'm yet to come across anyone who doesn't really like the character yet! Credit to the writers for getting this one right. Let's hope we see more of Eve in the future!

Love her. Everything everyone has said is spot on. I love how natural and effortless Eve is around the slaters and other characters. She’s a real person as someone said earlier - and a brilliant actress.

I normally hate drawn out stories but there’s no rush with the Suki story - hope they keep it nice and slow like they have been doing.

I didn't like her when she first appeared because she smacked or slapped 2 people. I've warmed to her more and more ever since and I really like her a lot now.

Yes, she was a bit feral and I felt the same as you at the time. I think she's great now and I would be sad if she left.

Love Eve and Heather. From reading Heather's Instagram she's loving working on EastEnders and playing Eve, so fingers crossed she's there for the foreseeable future.

Believe it or not heathers always struggled for work. No idea why, she's fabulous There's an interview I think it's on YouTube and she talks about it.

I didn't liker her at first, all seemed over the place when Stacey came back.

I thought she was be a bad influence but she hasn't been and a breath of fresh air to have someone 'normal' and calm and relaxed.

Add me to the list of Eve lovers.

I'm loving her as part of the Slater dynamic, and am enjoying the Suki partnership too. There's something very mature and non-toxic about it all (for now, at least). And I agree that Heather Peace is a brilliant actress - with the exception of when she's required to act drunk.
