Louisville man sentenced to 10 years for death of Moore High School student
A Louisville man will spend 10 years in prison for the death of a Moore High School student.Shalae Stewart was sentenced on Tuesday for the killing of Mykhi Brown. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter back in July. The 16-year-old was killed in February of 2020.The shooting was reported at Fifth and Compton streets, near the University of Louisville. Brown was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.Stewart had another three years added to his sentence because he was on probation at the time of Brown's killing.

A Louisville man will spend 10 years in prison for the death of a Moore High School student.

Shalae Stewart was sentenced on Tuesday for the killing of Mykhi Brown. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter back in July.

The 16-year-old was killed in February of 2020.

The shooting was reported at Fifth and Compton streets, near the University of Louisville. Brown was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.

Stewart had another three years added to his sentence because he was on probation at the time of Brown's killing.
