There were three shootings in less than an hour and a half in St. Louis City. Two people died and another person is hurt. All of the victims in these latest shootings were in their 20s and all of the violence happened in different areas of north St. Louis. There are no suspects in custody in connection with any of the cases.

Mariah Day was just 17 years old when her mother, Betsy Faria, was murdered. She’s 30 today.

“This bill will save lives and lower healthcare costs for millions of Illinoisans,” Illinois Governor JB Pritzker said.
