COVINGTON — The Covington Police Department is cautioning users of the Cricket Frog Trail to take precautions after a walker was attacked by two men who attempted to rape her Monday evening.
According to Officer Aaron Malcolm, a woman was walking her dog on the trail just south of Conyers Street at about 8:30 p.m. when she was attacked by two Black males on bicycles. No further description of the suspects is available.
Yeah seems like it is past due to get the homeless out of the park, if you walk the trails you will see tents setup in the woods were homeless drunks, drug addicts stay. I have seen needles, beer bottles, condoms on trails. Not saying the drug addict homeless were the ones involved in the attempted rape but cleanup has to start somewhere. [scared]
