Cops: Man, 38, arrested on gun charges after alleged shots-fired incident on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD arrested a 38-year-old man in Clifton after shots allegedly were fired on the North Shore of Staten Island.

The Neighborhood Safety Team is credited with finding the gun while responding to a 911 call of shots fired, according to the post on the 120th Precinct Twitter feed.

On Monday around 11:25 p.m., police arrested Duyan Kaine in the rear of a building at 185 Park Hill Ave. Kane lives on the 200 block of Park Hill Avenue, according to a spokeswoman for the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.

Police charged Kaine with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm after he allegedly was found to be in possession of a loaded, .38-caliber revolver, according to the police spokeswoman.
