UFO exhibit beaming down to Arizona Boardwalk in Scottsdale in the fall

Sep 28, 2022, 4:15 AM | Updated: 1:38 pm

PHOENIX – Space invaders have set their sights on Scottsdale this fall, but it’s all perfectly safe.

A family-friendly exhibit that delves into the history and allure of UFOs and other unearthly life will touch down at the Arizona Boardwalk in the fall, organizers said Tuesday.

The attraction, “UFO Experience: The Truth Is out There,” will feature over 200 artifacts, film clips and recordings that claim to show evidence of extraterrestrials dating back millennia, spread over seven galleries.

“If you love science-fiction, are someone who embraces the idea of life on other planets, or even the biggest skeptic of other-worldly beings, this attraction is for you,” Arizona Boardwalk managing partner Ran Knishinsky said in a press release.

Pieces in the displays include contributions from UFOlogists and collectors, organizers said.

The galleries at the attraction near Loop 101 Pima Freeway and Via de Ventura will showcase a simulation of an alien abduction, what role the military has played in modern sightings, pop culture props and interactive elements, among many features.

The exhibit is scheduled to open October on a date that hasn’t yet been determined.

The eighth attraction at the boardwalk takes over the spot previously occupied by “The Science of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!,” which closed Sept. 25.

We want to hear from you.
