The 5A-West Conference Tennis Tournament ended with the Mountain Home girls taking home a lot of hardware. The Lady Bombers have successfully defended their conference championship from last year.
The finals of the girls’ doubles bracket paired two Mountain Home teams against each other. Hannah Baker and Bianca Talbot won the championship over fellow Lady Bombers Kelsey Blackwell and Bella Dotson.
In addition, Macie Heide was the singles runner-up, and Cambelle Lance finished fourth.
On the boys’ side, the doubles team of Zane Darracq and Pierce Blackmon advanced to the semifinals before getting beat.
All of Mountain Home’s girls and Darracq and Blackmon will advance to the Class 5A State Tournament in Hot Springs Oct. 10.
