After falling behind early, Weatherford scored in every inning to run-rule Navajo 12-2 Monday.

Navajo scored in the top of the first inning on an RBI single to center field, giving the Lady Indians a 1-0 lead.

Weatherford tied the game, 1-1, with a run in the bottom of the first inning. Harlie Chism led off the inning with a home run over the wall in center field.

In the bottom of the second inning, Weatherford added four runs. Kennedy Stewart singled to right field and Karsen McPherson singled. Two batters later, Chism walked, loading the bases with one out. Cydnee Henderson singled to right field and both Stewart and McPherson scored.

Marley Teasley walked to load the bases again. Carsyn Chase hit a sacrifice fly ball out to center field and Chism scored after tagging up. Kaitlyn Bryant singled and Henderson scored, giving Weatherford the 5-1 lead.

Weatherford added three runs in the bottom of the third inning. Stewart singled to right field. Two batters later, Lanee Gilbert singled. Chism walked to load the bases. Stewart scored in the next at bat on an error. Teasley singled to center and both Gilbert and Chism scored, to give Weatherford the 8-1 lead.

Navajo scored a run in the top of the fourth inning on an RBI single to left field.

In the bottom of the fourth, Weatherford scored four runs to end the game due to run rule. Bryant singled to right field. Dacey Morris then walked. Stewart was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Reese Roof, pinch-running for Bryant, scored in the next at bat on a wild pitch. In the at bat, McPherson doubled to center field and both Morris and Stewart scored. Two batters later, Chism walked. Henderson singled to right field and McPherson scored, giving the Weatherford the 12-2 lead and ending the game.
