Alvin ISD teacher still missing after car found in New Orleans, sheriff's office says
Deputies said Fairview Junior High teacher Michelle Reynolds' car was found in New Orleans, but friends and family have not heard from her since Thursday.

ALVIN, Texas (KTRK) -- Texas EquuSearch has joined the search to help bring home an Alvin ISD teacher who has been missing since Sept. 22.

Michelle Reynolds, a sixth-grade Reading and Language Arts teacher at Fairview Junior High in Alvin, was reported missing by her husband.

On Monday, days after she went missing, Reynolds' 2018 Lexus NX 300 was found more than 570 miles away in New Orleans. But she was nowhere to be found.

Authorities added that no known contact has been made with family or friends since Reynolds went missing.

A description of the clothes Reynolds was wearing was not immediately available.

The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office also said it is coordinating with the New Orleans Police Department in this investigation.
