Trammell was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old was recalled from Tacoma on Friday and will head back to the minors after he struck out in both his plate appearances Sunday versus Kansas City. Trammell has a .204/.295/.418 slash line with four home runs and 10 RBI in 42 big-league games this season.
