UofL looks to keep winning momentum on the road at Boston College
The University of Louisville is a 15-point favorite as the travel up to Massachusetts to take on Boston College Saturday.
UofL looks to extend their winning streak to two games and make their way out of the bottom of the ACC.
Right now, both UofL and Boston College sit at the bottom of the division, with four ranked teams ahead of them.
Head coach Scott Satterfield said how difficult it can be to go on the road against an ACC opponent.
"But it comes back to us, focus on what we can control, which is how we prepare," he said.
The good news is that Satterfield and company are feeling better about themselves after beating down USF at home last weekend. And Satterfield says the offensive line is starting to settle in and making fewer mistakes.
"The last two weeks, we've done a much better job with it," Satterfield said. "We're more disciplined on offense. We're allowing our offense to go faster. If you notice the tempo of the last few games, we have been a lot quicker on offense, and we've been able to get more plays."
One massive key to the Cards' success this season is quarterback Malik Cunningham.
Cunningham's skill set as a runner and passer have proved him to be a game changer for the Cards this season.
He is just the eighth player in NCAA history to have 8,000 passing yards and 3,000 rushing yards in a career.
It isn't an easy road ahead after Boston College for the Cards. Five of the eight teams left on their schedule are ranked.
If Cunningham can stay healthy and productive, UofL at least has a fighting chance, maybe more.
"We've moved the ball, we've scored more points, and we put more pressure on the defense," Satterfield said. "So that's just what we have to continue to do, and, hopefully, we'll get these receivers more involved in the throw game and continue to make some big plays."
Kickoff for Saturday's game is set for noon.
