County honors 23 workers for 275 years of public service

Mike Tomason of Perry, left, director of the Dallas County Emergency Medical Services, was honored for 25 years of service to Dallas County residents Tuesday with a certification of appreciation, presented by Mark Hanson, chair of the Dallas County Board of Supervisors. Tomason also announced his impending retirement from the EMS Department in December.

Twenty-three employees of Dallas County were honored Tuesday for their 275 years of collective service to county residents.

Congratulated on five years of service were:

  • Garrett Rideman of the Dallas County Information Services Department
  • Tyler Eason of the Dallas County Attorney’s office
  • Mariela Torres of the Dallas County Sheriff’s office
  • Andrew Lovan of the Dallas County Sheriff’s office
  • Deavon Richards of the Dallas County Sheriff’s office
  • Dashel Ross of the Dallas County EMS Department
  • Clint Nelson of the Dallas County EMS Department
  • Jacqueline Garrett of the Dallas County Treasurer’s office
  • Breanna Mink of the Dallas County Community Services Department

Reaching their 10-year milestone with Dallas County were:

  • Andy Case of the Dallas County Secondary Roads Department
  • Diana Haynes of the Dallas County Attorney’s office
  • Heidi McKibben of the Dallas County Sheriff’s office
  • Brent Behnken of the Dallas County Sheriff’s office
  • Julia Helm of the Dallas County Auditor’s office
  • Renee Farber of the Dallas County Auditor’s office

Thanked for 15 years of service to Dallas County were:

  • Ashley Kuntz of the Dallas County Sheriff’s office
  • Rebecca Massure of the Dallas County Sheriff’s office
  • Preston Coston of the Dallas County Secondary Roads Department

Honored for a quarter-century of service to the county were:

  • Christopher Adkins of the Dallas County Conservation Department
  • Steve Helm of the Dallas County Assessor’s office
  • Mike Thomason of the Dallas County EMS Department
  • Lisa Kempf of the Dallas County Community Services Department
  • Rachelle Lande of the Dallas County Information Services Department

The honorees were presented with certificates of appreciation by Mark Hanson, chair of the Dallas County Board of Supervisors.
