NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 38-year-old Queens man is dead after crashing his car while having a medical episode Monday night, authorities said.

Jorge Peguero was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer on 34th Avenue and 106th Street in Corona around 7:20 p.m. when he suffered a medical episode, police said.
Officials did not elaborate on the sort of medical episode Peguero was experiencing but said it caused him to hit the front side of a parked, unoccupied Hyundai Elantra before colliding with a fence.
Responding officers found Peguero unresponsive and unconscious. He was transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Elmhurst where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is still under investigation.
