The Grand Rapids Tidal Waves Women’s Tackle Football Team are seeking new players for their 2023 season and are expected to hold open tryouts Oct. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at MSA Fieldhouse.

There is no cost to attend tryouts and no prior experience is required, President Pamela Blazo said.

All positions are available and open to any female athlete that will be at least 18 years old by April 2023, Blazo said.

“Life is short and full of regrets,” Head Coach Stacey Davis said. “Don’t look back on your life and wonder what could have been.”

The Tidal Waves asked interested athletes to pre-register for tryouts through the registration link on theirwebsite.
