Pinal County Sheriff's Office: Mother, son found dead in San Tan Valley home

A mother and her son were found dead Monday afternoon in a San Tan Valley home, according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the home located in the area of Schnepf Road and Castlegate Boulevard for a call regarding a suicidal person around 2:30 p.m., according to the PCSO. They found a 43-year-old woman and a 6-year-old boy dead.
The PCSO confirmed they were mother and son.
The Pinal County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death of the woman and child.
The PCSO said there were no outstanding suspects as of Tuesday morning and no further information was released.
"This is a tragic situation for the family, for the community, and for our agency," the PCSO said in a news release.
