Chester County Home to Four of Pennsylvania’s 50 Best School Districts for Athletes

The Conestoga High School football team represents the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District, which ranks 26th among Pennsylvania's best school districts for athletes.

Chester County is home to four of Pennsylvania’s 50 best school districts for athletes in 2022, according to recently published rankings by Niche.com.

To determine the 2022 Best School Districts for Athletes in Pennsylvania, Niche.com analyzed data from the U.S. Department of Education, as well as millions of reviews from students and parents. Factors considered include student and parent reviews of athletics, the number of sports offered, the number of students participating in athletics, and more.

The highest-ranked school district in Chester County is West Chester at No. 6, with an A+ grade in sports and an A- grade for resources and facilities.

The Coatesville Area School District also broke the Top 10 at No. 7. The district scored A+ in sports and B for resources and facilities.

Unionville-Chadds Ford is next at No. 23, with an A grade in both sports as well as for resources and facilities.

The list is rounded out by Tredyffrin-Easttown at No. 26, which also scored an A in both categories.
