NC elementary school teacher arrested, accused of inappropriately touching student
An Edgecombe County Public School elementary school teacher was arrested on Monday after being accused of sexually assaulting a student this month.
Posted — UpdatedBATTLEBORO, N.C. — An Edgecombe County Public School elementary school teacher was arrested on Monday after being accused of sexually assaulting a student this month.
Zachary Warren Lamm, 31, from Spring Hope, was charged with indecent liberties with a child after a 9-day long investigation by the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office.
A student at Coker-Wimberly Elementary School told their parents that Lamm inappropriately touched them, the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post.
Lamm was given a $100,000 secured bond and, as of Monday, was being held at the Edgecombe County Detention Center.
