Person sought after bullets hit house, 2 vehicles on Easton street, cops say (UPDATE)

Easton police said they were trying to identify the person in these photos as part of their investigation into gunfire shortly after 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2022, at South 13th and Pine streets, according to a news release.

Easton police asked for the public’s help after gunfire struck a home and two vehicles in the city Monday night.

No one was injured in the incident, which was reported as shots fired about 9:08 p.m. near South 13th and Pine streets, said police Lt. Matthew Gerould.

The occupied home, which had a broken window, was on 13th street, he said.

In addition to the damaged home and cars, officers arriving at the scene found evidence a shooting, although Gerould would not elaborate on what kind of evidence.

Witnesses reported two people were arguing in the area before the shooting, and fled the area on foot. One suspect wearing a white sweatshirt and white sweatpants took off toward Northampton Street, and a second suspect, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a backpack, fled north on 13th Street, Gerould said.

Police late Tuesday afternoon released photographs of an individual sought in relation to the gunfire, and asked anyone who can identify the person to contact investigators.

Police were also asking residents in the area to check their home surveillance systems before and after 9 p.m.

Anyone with information on the individual sought or who believes they recorded something related to the crime may contact police detectives at 610-250-6637 or the police department’s tip line at 610-250-6635.
